Sleeping on the Floor

,

I’ve been sleeping on the floor,
Afraid to lay in our bed,
Where the memories turn to nightmares
Under the veil of starlight,
And the man on the moon doesn’t save me,
Doesn’t return you
To warm this ever so lonesome place,
Fill the empty space;
So I lay on the cold floor
That mimics the feeling of my heart
I sleep there ’til you return
